Intermediate Screening

After the first phase of stabilization of the organic Fraction in the trench shed, and prior to the maturation phase of this Organic Fraction, the material are subjected to a mechanical screening and recovery process which consists of:

Screening the material by:
- A disc screen
- An elastic mesh screen
Separation of light elements from any of the fractions resulting from the screening
Recovery of the material considered as CSR, in a densimetric separation equipment
Aluminum recovery in foucoult separator
Recovery of ferric metals in magnetic separators
Glass recovery using two optical separators

With the implementation of this intermediate screening line, it is possible to substantially reduce the assessable material sent to landfill.
